ASC’s Exciting Announcement

American SurgiSite Centers, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic partnership with Planet Networks to provide our clients using the iMedicWare EMR product with an enhanced level of support.

As a result of the growing demand for EMR software in the ophthalmic OR, an increase in the number of EMR installations, and the growing complexity of our clients’ IT infrastructures, we came to the conclusion that the demand for support was too great for one person to handle. 

Effective immediately, Planet Networks will be providing our EMR clients with end-to-end remote support. From a surgery center technology standpoint, Planet Networks is recommending dual Internet connections for all sites to enable more reliable Internet connectivity with the goal of as close as possible to 100% uptime at all sites.

For us to provide you with outstanding customer service, we have established a 24-hour call center. The standard coverage hours will be from 6 AM to 6 PM ET, with emergency support available before and after hours, and for our clients in other time zones.
